Richard Williams

Our Chief Investment Officer, Richard Williams, leads the Investment Management Team. It has a simple objective – to successfully manage our client assets in a manner consistent with the Trustee’s Investment Beliefs.

Richard first managed a portfolio for Railpen in 1995 during his tenure at a specialised global fixed income firm. He subsequently joined Railpen in 2014 and together with his colleagues has helped to create a sophisticated internal investment management capability. We focus on long-term investing, we utilise an innovative approach and fully integrate non-financial factors when evaluating investments. Our funds include investments in equities, fixed income, property, infrastructure and alternative assets. These are held across both private and public markets.
