Railpen announces new British fashion brands at Caledonia Park
Railpen, manager of the around £36bn railways pension scheme in the UK, has announced the signing of Joules for its first Scottish outlet at Caledonia Park, alongside the opening of Belstaff.
Fashion brand Joules will open a 1,745 sq ft store at Caledonia Park, marking its first Scottish outlet location, bringing its effortless British style to Scotland’s premium outlet destination. Spanning menswear, womenswear and childrenswear, the new store will offer Joules’ signature blend of timeless design, quality craftsmanship and contemporary country style. This addition delivers another well-loved fashion brand, offering customers even greater variety.
Belstaff has also launched its 2,500 sq ft unit, sitting adjacent to Crew Clothing and Moss. The new store showcases the brand’s distinctive collections, including its signature outerwear, ready-to-wear and accessories. With a heritage rooted in British design and motorcycle culture, Belstaff adds a distinctive proposition to Caledonia Park’s growing fashion offer.
The arrival of two established British names reflects Railpen’s commitment to supporting British businesses, while continuing to strengthen Caledonia Park’s retail offer with brands that resonate and align with its varied customer base.
This leasing momentum is matched by strong commercial performance at Caledonia Park, with year-on-year sales and footfall up 3.8% and 5.3% respectively in August. Recent openings, including Superdry & Co’s first outlet and Crocs, have helped drive a particularly strong period for fashion and accessories, with category sales up 11.7% YoY in August.
Alex Luker, Senior Asset Manager at Railpen, said: “Belstaff and Joules both reflect the calibre of brands we look to attract to Caledonia Park. They align closely with our long-term vision for the scheme and our understanding of a customer base seeking premium yet accessible brands. Securing Joules’ first outlet store in Scotland is a strong endorsement of the destination and its position as a leading outlet destination in the region.”
Louise Brown, Property and Retail Director at Joules, commented: “We’re so pleased to be opening our new Caledonia Park store. As well as bringing our preppy heritage style back to Scotland, we’re really looking forward to reconnecting with our lovely community of Scottish customers.”
Belstaff and Joules join an aspiring lineup of brands at Caledonia Park, including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and Kate Spade New York.
