Steve is Head of Client Relationship Management and Client Secretariat and is responsible in ensuring Railpen's relationships with Rail clients and stakeholders are based on strong partnerships and the Railways Pension Scheme’s (RPS) committee schedule is facilitated in a proactive, efficient and professional manner.

Steve led on the development of several collaborative projects ensuring that Railpen and committees were armed with robust guidance on the application of scheme rules resulting in better outcomes for members and their families receive a timely, accurate and consistent service.

He joined Railpen in July 2019 and celebrates his 40th work anniversary in the pensions industry later in 2026. Before joining, Steve has held several Director roles at FTSE 100 companies during his career, commencing in administration and in working in both sales and client relationship.
