Communications win at Pension Age Awards 2022

On Wednesday, 23 February 2022, Pensions Age announced the winners of their awards at a central London gala. Amongst the evening’s winners from pension schemes and providers across the UK, Railpen claimed the Pensions Age Pension Scheme Communication Award.

The accolade was awarded in recognition of its excellent offering in the member engagement and guidance space and was made possible by the hard work of all of the pensions administration teams and, in particular, the Customer Experience Team. This win follows Railpen’s success in winning the first Saver Engagement Award from the PLSA in October last year.

Rob Hughes, Head of Customer Experience, said: “We are delighted to have won the Pensions Age Pension Scheme Communication Award. We believe meaningful communications are vital to help members plan earlier and more effectively and achieve good retirement outcomes.”

John Chilman, Chief Executive of Railpen, said: “We are proud of the great strides we have taken to provide our members with the freedom and flexibility to plan for a better retirement. Railpen’s purpose is to secure our members’ future, and a huge part of that is ensuring that we are providing the right tools and information to enable our members to plan accordingly. We are constantly seeking out more innovative ways to serve our members and look forward to doing so for many more years to come.”
