Kirsten Baggaley

Kirsten is our Director of Finance and has 14 years of Finance experience, the last 10 within Pensions at Railpen. Kirsten has a wealth of experience within the Corporate and Scheme Finance areas and been involved in large scale programmes of change across the business.

Kirsten is leading the modernisation of our Finance function, to ensure it continues to support the business and our members. Kirsten particularly enjoys the people aspect of leadership and is committed to developing her team as they build a value add Finance function.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, her team help to ensure the Financial security of Railpen and provide the business with respected Financial guidance.

Another passion of hers is education and Kirsten is also an Independent Governor and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Northern School of Art, a higher and further College based in the North East, a position she was appointed to in 2021.
