New appointments complete RPMI Railpen property team

RPMI Railpen (Railpen) has appointed Alastair Dawson and Richard van Lente to complete its internal property investment team, under the leadership of Head of Property, Anna Rule.

Alastair joins the property team as Senior Property Asset Manager. He was previously at CBRE’s National Asset Management team where he was responsible for the management of Harbert Management Corporation’s Industrial Assets. At Railpen, Alastair will be responsible for the day to day asset management of office and industrial assets.

Richard van Lente joins as Senior Property Asset & Development Manager from Market Tech, and will be responsible for the day to day asset management of a number of Railpen’s retail assets.

The new appointments continue the ongoing expansion of internal asset management capabilities at the £27 billion pension fund. Alastair and Richard join Matthew Howard, Head of Property Asset Management and Helena Nicholls, Investment Manager, in the property investment team.
