Multinational F&B brands set to open at Caledonia Park
Railpen has announced the signing of Starbucks and Burger King at Caledonia Park, Scotland’s premier designer outlet village. The brands will join Caledonia Park in 2023 as the destination continues to evolve its hospitality offer.
Railpen, one of the largest pension managers in the UK, has announced the signing of Starbucks and Burger King at Caledonia Park, Scotland’s premier designer outlet village. The brands will join Caledonia Park in 2023 as the destination continues to evolve its hospitality offer.
Starbucks is to open a 2,000 sq ft unit adjacent to Pizza Express and Next, while Burger King will occupy a 1,900 sq ft unit in the same vicinity. The brands will provide visitors to Caledonia Park with even greater choice with their all-day offers, serving as a convenience hub for local residents, as well as an opportunity for visitors from further afield to refuel and recharge before continuing their shopping.
Gordon Campbell, Director of Operations at OCO, commented on the signing: “We’re really delighted to be bringing a brand-new Starbucks to Caledonia Park, Gretna. The store will create 15 jobs, and given the current economic situation, it’s great to be able to generate new job opportunities in the local area. We are looking forward to welcoming customers in search of a great cup of coffee”.
Maria Averkina, Asset and Development Manager at Railpen, also said: “Welcoming two multinational brands to Caledonia Park marks a key moment for the destination. Starbucks and Burger King will be strong additions to our culinary line-up, and solidifies our approach in attracting sought-after F&B operators. The evolution of our F&B tenant mix has been at the forefront of our strategy post Caledonia Park’s refurbishment, and we’re pleased to see this now coming to fruition.”
The signing of Starbucks and Burger King at Caledonia Park follows the recent opening of Cornish Bakery, the independent bakery brand, joining the destination’s evolving retail mix, which includes kate spade New York, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, adidas, BOSS and Crew Clothing.
Johnstone Property Consultants and Time Retail Partners acted for Caledonia Park. EYCO acted for Starbucks, whilst Cushmans acted for Burger King.
