Railpen appoint Paula Brack as Chief HR Officer

Railpen, which runs the £37 billion railways pension schemes, is delighted to announce that it has appointed Paula Brack as its new Chief HR Officer, taking over from Mark Martin, who retires in January 2022.

Railpen, which runs the £37 billion railways pension schemes, is delighted to announce that it has appointed Paula Brack as its new Chief HR Officer, taking over from Mark Martin, who retires in January 2022.

Paula, who has over 25 years of experience across a number of sectors and covering the entire HR spectrum, joined Railpen in 2018 as Head of HR. During this time, she has led on the delivery of several key initiatives to further enhance Railpen’s employee experience.

Paula’s appointment to Railpen’s executive team follows those of Ellen Watson-Hicks as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer and Sally-Ann James as General Counsel in October 2021.

Paula said: “Railpen is dedicated to creating an inclusive culture that nurtures and develops diverse talent while supporting our people. We have spent the last two years developing and embedding new foundations within our policies and organisational culture, and we have some exciting plans for the years ahead that will further enable Railpen to offer an exceptional employee experience”.
