Railpen’s Octimum Business Park in Woking fully let with latest signings
Railpen, one of the largest pension managers in the UK, has achieved fully let status at its 150,000 sq ft Octimum Business Park in Woking with the signing of two tenants for the last remaining refurbished units. Perform Logistics has taken a 14,315 sq ft unit on a ten-year lease, while Fury Design Agency is to occupy a 15,907 sq ft unit, also on a ten-year lease. The signings will deliver long-term income for Railpen, with over £500,000 added to the annual rent roll at Octimum.
Situated on the east side of Woking and offering ready access to the M25, M3 and A3, Octimum Business Park comprises 11 units let to ten tenants, including West Horsley Dairy and Electron Beam Processes. Railpen has been upgrading units as they become available, with Perform Logistics and Fury Design Agency both securing newly enhanced space that includes mezzanine offices. Railpen has also invested in the landscaping and environment at Octimum, further improving the location for existing and prospective occupiers.
John Morton, Asset Manager at Railpen, said: “Demand for quality industrial and logistics space in Woking is very strong, with the town’s strategic location attracting a wide range of occupiers seeking easy access to the UK’s motorway network, Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and the extensive local workforce. These two signings, which mean Octimum is now fully let, and our refurbishment and upgrade programme is delivering significant long-term rental growth.”
Neil Mason, Founder and Managing Director of Perform Logistics, added: “We needed high quality, accessible space to accommodate our growth, and Railpen’s investment in Octimum has provided us with everything we were looking for and more. Expanding into Octimum puts us in a very strong position to continue to develop the business.”
